Spam FREE Mailing for your organization

How ECM Works?

ECM services work in the manner as described below.

Your Earlier Setup :

Incoming Mail: ----- MX ---> mx.yourserver.com

Which means that a mail coming from outside will come directly to your MX servers.

After Implementation of ECM

Incoming Mail: --- MX ----> Netcore Servers (spam & virus check) ---- RELAY TO ---> mx.yourserver.com

What Does It All Mean?

After ECM implementation, all incoming mail will first pass through Netcore Servers, where they will be scanned for virus and spams, and then relayed to your earlier MX (Mail Exchange) servers.

All that is required for ECM implemention is a "shift in MX pointers." Your earlier MX servers will keep on functioning in the same way.

SPAM reports would be available 24hrs after ECM implementation, at the following URL;

http://spam2.netcore.co.in/

username : yourdomain.com
password : <provided by netcore>

Actions on Spam Messages

The initial ECM setup for yourdomain.com will be configured in such a way that the Spam messages will be detected and tagged as {SPAM ?} and then delivered to the end user.

If a mail is  tagged as SPAM but is actually not, all you have to do is forward the mail to nospam@spamtrap.netcore.co.in.

The ECM system is designed to learn from User feedback. Alternatively, you can add the sender's email id or domain in your whitelist  available under the preferences section on the reporting tool. With this the mails from the particular emailId/domain will never be marked as spam.

Similarly, if a mail is SPAM and is not tagged as SPAM just forward the mail to spam@spamtrap.netcore.co.in Alternatively add the emailId or domain in your blacklist available under the preferences section on the reporting tool. With this all the mails from that particular email Id/domain will always be considered as spam.

The available actions on spam mails are as follows;

1) Deliver- The mails are tagged as {SPAM ?} and delivered to the end user.

2) Forward- Messages considered as spam are forwarded to some other email account and end user does not recieve the mail.

3) Deliver and Forward- The messages are forwarded to the other email account as well as delivered to the end user.

4) Delete- The spam messages are deleted and mails are NOT delivered.

Sample MX Records to implement Emergic CleanMail Services

To implement Emergic CleanMail Services the MX records for your domain have to be pointed as follows.

yourdomain.com      MX      5      venus.netcore.co.in
yourdomain.com      MX      40      pluto.netcore.co.in

ECM uses multiple Servers to ensure High Availability and proper transition of mails.
