Software Developers at Darrel Technologies form the back bone of a team of dedicated team of IT experts, creating and implementing a variety of business applications targeted at various aspects of the Ghanaian and International market.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Design, rapidly prototype, and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable and marketable web applications using HTML5 technologies.


• Design and implement maintainable and marketable mobile applications using Java technologies


• Enforce code quality through test driven development.


• Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to define product requirements.


• Distill product requirements into design and technical specifications.


• Aggressively collect, analyze, and act on data about product performance.

Job Requirements, Skills and Abilities

• 2+ years experience building compelling web applications.


• * Strong interest in product design and building irresistible user interfaces.


• Strong expertise in Java Technologies, PHP, jQuery, JavaScript, and CSS.


• Significant experience developing web applications using HTML5 or Gears.


• Undergraduate degree in computer science or equivalent experience preferred
  (not mandatory).


• Ability to work well in a team, particularly with developers and product managers
